Bam Boom Cloud is a proud supporter of the Women in Dynamics organisation, chaired by our very own Vicky Critchley. It’s been a busy few weeks for Women in Dynamics – read on to find out all about what’s been happening.
Women in Dynamics is a not-for-profit organisation that works to promote inclusivity and diversity in the Dynamics community. Women in Dynamics brings clarity to the diversity effort and makes it tangible, ready for every company and individual to begin doing more.
Women in Dynamics at the Directions North America conference
This month Women in Dynamics took their message to the Directions North America conference in Orlando – the first time they’ve been stateside. They were met with real enthusiasm and support, and the Women in Dynamics lunch was a particular highlight. At this event, the newly created ‘THIS framework’ was launched, helping to define the actions that partners can take to promote positive change and inclusivity across the channel. Partners who have signed the pledge to support Women in Dynamics now have a framework of clear actions to follow to make real, measurable change.
Carme Cortada and Bam Boom Cloud’s Steve Brooks also ran a conference session on allyship, giving examples of how individuals can take action and be an active ally to women the workplace.

Women in Dynamics at the Digital Revolution Awards
Following on from the success of Directions, Women in Dynamics was highly commended in the Outstanding Contribution to the Microsoft Community category at the Digital Revolution Awards, held in London on 21 April. This category recognizes exceptional contributions to the cloud space by organizations or individuals working in or supporting the Microsoft community.
The Digital Revolution Awards were founded in 2020 to applaud excellence across the global cloud tech ecosystem. Some of the Bam Boom Cloud team were there at the ceremony to help celebrate Women in Dynamics’ success!

Women in Dynamics will be at the upcoming Dynamics Minds conference – a new conference for the Dynamics community taking place 22-24 May in Portoroz, Slovenia. We hope to see you there!
