Bell Educational Services Ltd was established in 1955 as an English Language school in Cambridge. They teach English to international students from all over the world, who come to Bell to develop their English language skills and experience life in England.
Bell teaches students of all ages, including under 18s, many of whom attend Summer Young Learner courses, and over 18s, who attend the permanent centres in Cambridge and London.
Bell Education’s finance system was very dated. The system had limited and poor integration with modern office systems, such as Office 365.
Reporting was cumbersome and required significant technical knowledge. The user interface was poor and there was no real scope for improvement. The system was also expensive.
By implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Bell Educational Services’ reporting has improved significantly, and their new workflows have simplified purchase invoice approval processes.
Now, Bell Educational has an up-to-date finance system and their finance team effectiveness has improved.
