BUSINESS CENTRAL CUSTOMER SUCCESS CONSULTANT

CONTRACT TYPE: Full time

SALARY: £30k – £60k

JOB DESCRIPTION:

How would you like to join Microsoft’s Partner of the Year (winner 2019, finalist 2020 and 2021!) and take your career to the next level?

We’re looking for Business Central Customer Success Consultant to join our award-winning, global team! 2021 is shaping up to be our best year yet. Customers across the world are realising that Business Central is way better than what they’re using right now and we need your help to implement it.

So what do we need from you?

The perfect person will be fun, Dynamic (pun very much intended 😉) and a great communicator. We’d love for you to have Business Central experience, particularly on SaaS. You should love new ways of working and be open to learning new things.

Our implementations are fixed price and fixed scope. This means the way we work is a little different to a ‘traditional’ NAV or Business Central partner. We don’t look to sell more days on projects, we instead look for high volume of implementations. The important skills are therefore being able to understand a customer’s business and how we’ll be able to configure our packs to suit their desired outcomes and business pain points.

This means a different way of thinking, where the customer experience and efficient delivery of implementation is more important than an extremely deep technical knowledge.

We don’t need sticklers for ‘how they’ve always done it’. NAV 2009 or v3.70 experience is not a bonus!

We are constantly innovating and improving how we deliver, sell and support Business Central. We want you to contribute to that.

Career progression will be in your hands – if you want to go deeper into your role e.g. learning more technically, that’s fine. If you want to take on more responsibilities for the team, that could work too. If you want to broaden your role, and do more within your day to day responsibilities, that works!

What we need more than anything is a willingness to work with the team, get stuck in and deliver to a high standard.

And what will you actually need to do?

  • Build and maintain great relationships with clients
  • Quickly understand the needs of a client and provide solutions to pain points/challenges.
  • Deliver additional Business Central “packs” to clients
  • Provide quality Dynamics Business Central training/training materials.
  • Provide advice/insight backed by real world/project experience.
  • Capture and write up change request scopes for minor developments.
  • Handle ticket escalations from the support team
  • Work with the team, co-ordinating with other consultants and team members on projects – your own, and theirs!
  • Keep up with new releases of Dynamics Business Central and associated technologies.
  • Share knowledge and support other team members in the Business Central team

And what skills…

  • Dynamics Business Central or Dynamics NAV experience is essential
  • Accounting or business qualification or demonstrated knowledge of accounting/business fundamentals is also key (Invoicing/Credit Control, Stock Purchasing, Bank Reconciliations, VAT Returns (optional), Management Accounts)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English)
  • Strong Excel/Data handling skills
  • Power BI experience is desirable
  • Jet Reports, ZetaDocs, Continia experience is desirable

Here’s some slightly less interesting but still important stuff we need to tell you:

The role is full time, permanent, 37.5 hours/week. Depending on where you live, you’ll either be home-based or based at our office location – though you can work from where you choose, when you choose. Salary is dependent on experience. We’ll provide all the equipment you need to do your job (phone, laptop etc.)
