Microsoft Dynamics Support Consultant

2022 is shaping up to be our best year yet! We are looking for an extraordinary Microsoft Dynamics Support Consultant to join our UK BAM-ily and this is where you come in:

So, what do we need from you?

This role will see you working closely with both the Dynamics Consultants and our existing client base. It is focused around helping to ensure we deliver world class support for any issues or queries that they may have.

You will be the type of person who enjoys fixing issues and finding remedies. You will have the ability to work independently, while also collaborating as a wider team. But it’s not just about having technical knowledge; it’s about proactively helping customers through issues and building rapport with each one of our clients every time you resolve a certain issue.

You will be able to understand a customer’s pain points and put a stop to them. With the very best communication over the phone and email, you will leave a WOW on the customer’s lips every time they log a support query.

What kind of person are we looking for?

The perfect person will be fun, Dynamic (pun very much intended 😉) and a great communicator. We’d love for you to have Dynamics experience, particularly on SaaS. You should love new ways of working and be open to learning new things.

What we need more than anything is a willingness to work with the team, get stuck in and deliver to a high standard.

We want you to do these things…

  • Quickly understand the needs of a client’s request.
  • Taking ownership of the responses that come into the support board by responding on our ticket system
  • Keep support tickets updated with progress made and ensure timely responses back to the client.
  • Provide advice and insight backed by real world experience.
  • React and respond quickly to situations that may affect the functionality of the Sales Professional system.
  • Capture and write up change request scopes for minor customizations.
  • Build and maintain great relationships with clients – it sounds easy, but done right, it’s worth its weight in gold!
  • Work with the team, co-ordinating with other consultants and team members on live requests and projects, both your own and theirs!
  • Keep up with new releases of Dynamics and associated technologies.
  • Share knowledge and support other team members.
  • Learning about each area of Sales Professional to expand your personal knowledge and increase our customer satisfaction.

What skills do you need?

  • Dynamics CE or Sales Professional experience is essential.
    • Focus is on Sales, but Customer Service, Field Service, PSA may be useful in the future
    • Ideally experience working with Solutions i.e., changes to:
      • Entities (adding fields etc.)
      • Forms
      • Business Process Flows
      • Workflows
    • Experience working in a support environment is useful but not a necessity.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English).
    • Strong Excel/Data handling skills.
    • Power BI experience is desirable.

Some technical experience is required for this role to hit the ground running.

And what will you actually do?

  • Working with Active Directory, processing new starter requests and leaver request tickets
  • You will be handling all our automated alerts through to the service desk. This includes backup requests, server alerts and diskspace queries.
  • There will be an element of answering the phones when our customers call through. Providing excellent telephone manner, no matter the situation.
  • Overseeing some of our high priority change requests. This includes password resets that need to be actioned as soon as they come through to the service desk.
  • Providing the best customer service to our Modern Work clients.
  • Working closely with the rest of the support team to hit targets
  • Taking ownership of first responses that come into the support desk
  • Actively investigating new issues via google and other forms of investigation.

No two days are the same in the support team, it is a fast-paced position, but nothing is more rewarding than seeing a happy customer at the end of a difficult ticket.

Global Head of Projects

Experience is key for this role. We are looking for someone to come into the role and really hit the ground running.

  • Prince2 qualification or equivalent is essential
  • Experience in line management and leading a team is desirable, preferably a projects team.
  • Previous experience working to key performance Indicators
  • At least 3 years of project management delivery experience
  • Industry experience in IT and or Accountancy is preferred.

This role is perfect for an experienced IT/Accounting project manager team leader to make the step up to heading up a department and taking more responsibility.

And what will you actually do?

This role never has 2 days the same. You will oversee our Global Project operations and will have responsibility for driving department improvements within knowledge, best practise, processes and delivery methodologies.

Not only that but you will be tasked with the followed:

  • You will be in charge of contribution to the creation and review of new project bids.
  • Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through continued improvement by evaluating ‘lessons learned’ to implement change.
  • Define and execute best working practises, to ensure service excellence
  • Drive continuity of service within delivery methodology, change process and risk management.
  • Provide monthly data to support defective business decisions/reflections.
  • Establish regular, clear and consistent channels of communication at all levels within the organisation.
  • You will need to undertake regular cross territory process reviews
  • Management of key internal projects
  • Work closely with department leaders to align on process
  • Provide line management for PMs in multiple departments
  • Point of escalation for project management team.
  • Act as internal project stakeholder for complex projects.

Modern Work 3rd Line Support Engineer

Experience/Skills/qualifications that are needed?

  • Extensive understanding of Microsoft Technologies including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Azure, Endpoint Manager & Autopilot, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Exchange Server (Including Exchange Online Hybrid Deployments), SQL Server
  • Solid understanding of UTM and Firewall products and their roles within the network. (SonicWALL/Watchguard/Cisco and others)
  • Understanding of server virtualisation in Hyper-V environments, including failover clustering and SAN storage. VMWare experience also desirable
  • Understanding of server backup solutions (Datto/Altaro/Veeam and others)
  • Strong understanding of network settings including TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, port forwarding and NAT
  • Microsoft Fundamental, Associate or Expert Certifications are extremely desirable

And what will you actually do?

  • Take support escalations from 2nd line support, Customer Success Managers, and key contacts for our portfolio of clients.
  • Provide out of hours escalation support to our 24/7 support partners (rota based).
  • Work directly with client inhouse IT teams and provide them with a point of escalation and assist with systems administration.
  • RCA of monitoring alerts.
  • Review and approve issues that need escalating to on site engineers.
  • Document repeatable troubleshooting processes and procedures.
  • Reviewing and applying SSL certificates to applications and services
  • Mentor 1st and 2nd line technicians.
  • Assist with 1st and 2nd line workloads when necessary.

So, what do we need from you?

This role is perfect for someone who likes a fast-paced work environment, has a positive outlook, and understands that teamwork is everything! With the opportunity to work across multiple business areas, this role will keep the ideal person enthused and motivated.

Our ideal candidate will have experience with the following technologies as a minimum – Anything above this would be a plus!

  • Office 365 (Admin, configuration, and deployment)
  • Windows 10
  • Azure technologies – Experience of VM’s, EMS, Intune
  • Azure Active Directory
  • Exposure and understanding of M365 Business Premium licenses and features, Intune, Microsoft Defender.

The ability to think through a problem you’ve never seen before and work with a client and the team to resolution is a must. Experience with Veeam, Mimecast, Datto, Sophos and SonicWall firewalls would also be a huge advantage.

What will you be doing?

Working closely with our external clients you’ll be the hands-on individual supporting with the implementation of various projects.

You may be required to travel on-site, around 5-10 days per month depending on the customers needs.

It’s exciting! One morning you could be delivering an O365 migration, the next it could be an Azure Virtual Machine migration, followed up by helping one of our clients migrate to W10 and M365. No two days are the same.

Knowledge of Business Finance and/or Business Operations and processes are essential. If you have any additional knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Nav or Business Central then that would be a huge bonus.

You need to have the want and drive to keep learning, not being afraid to ask questions and learn from mistakes.

We are constantly innovating and improving how we deliver, sell and support Business Central. We want you to contribute to that.
